Manpower is hiring a Line Set-Up Operator for a company located in Boca Raton.




Position Summary:


Operates and set up machines that perform labeling, filling, and container sealing.




  • Must watch the Right to Know Video, and take a test on it.

  • Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time.

  • Must be able to handle all tasks and all phases of the daily operation of the facility.

  • Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled facility.

  • Must be able to read and interpret documents, such as Safety Rules, Maintenance, and/or Operating procedures.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Must be able to work with a diverse group of people and in a team environment.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with Supervisors and coworkers.

  • Must be fast-paced.

  • Must be able to meet daily production requirements.

  • Must be able to keep work area clean, neat, and safe.

  • Must report any injuries immediately to the closest supervisor.

  • Must comply with all OSHA and E-Z Weld safety rules.

  • Must be able to lift 18-25lb.

  • No jewelry, no open-toe shoes, no smoking (except in designated smoking areas), no cell phones (except at lunch/break)

  • Must wear appropriate clothing. No tight fitting, low cut, see-thru clothing. Shorts at knee length.

  • Must wear appropriate Personnel Protective Equipment provided by the facility.




  • Sets up equipment according to instructions.

  • Selects, positions, and secures tooling as required for each piece of equipment on the line.

  • Starts machine and observes operation to detect for malfunctions. Stops machine and reports to supervisor if necessary.

  • Use your Dexterity skills, such as hand and eye.

  • Package daily orders.

  • Be aware of chemical levels.

  • Inspects filled containers to ensure that product is acceptable. Ex: levels, labels, sealed up properly.

  • Ensure Stamp Code (date).

  • Check containers for defaults, such as cracks and/or rust.

  • Package and seal completed orders.

  • Ensure accuracy of labels.

  • Ensue accuracy of quantities.

  • Verify that all canisters are wiped cleaned and tops are tight.

  • Keep your area clean and organized.

  • Maybe required to rotate between work stations.

  • Perform any job or task assigned by your supervisor.


Work Environment:


While performing the duties of this position, the employee routinely works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to fumes and/or particles, toxic chemicals, loud noise and vibrations, all within OSHA standards.
