Manpower is hiring a Second Shift Manufacturing Line Lead for a company located in Boca Raton.




Position Summary:


This position is primarily responsible for the activities in supervising, staffing and scheduling of a 2nd shift manufacturing operation. This is a working supervisor position and the supervisor will also be responsible for working along staff to complete required work. Reports to the Director of Manufacturing Review schedule with daytime supervisor to plan the shift Validation of material staged (Item Code, Quantity) to ensure the materials needed to run the production are available on the floor prior to the shift star.


Essential Functions:


  • Filling out the fill sheet or any other relevant production documents.

  • Manage the Filling Production Process on the floor.

  • Audit Filling machine setups.

  • Monitor and record time attendance.

  • Work with the Quality lead to maintain the highest level of product quality.

  • Assign Line workers to specific work stations based on the need of the production floor.

  • Ensure the direct reports adhere to the performance objectives and carry out their responsibilities.

  • Ensure the completion of the assigned production on schedule on a weekly basis.

  • Ensure the facility is secure throughout the shift and lockup the facility at close.

  • Ensures all necessary components/resources are available and capable to meet production schedule and established quality standards and goals.

  • Supervise the daily activities of employees by providing training, direction, guidance, counseling or disciplinary action when necessary, and, in conjunction with HR, makes recommendations regarding personnel actions (hiring, terminations, promotions, etc.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Assist in achieving environmental, health, and safety goals by working safely and observing all general plant and department safety policies.

  • Key holder responsible for security and locking up the facility.

  • Perform all assigned duties according to departmental SOP’s and cGMP’s.

  • Remain current on proper procedures by reviewing current, revised, and new SOP’s relating to the job and to the department.

  • Complete and remain current with all required cGMP and safety training.

  • Perform tasks as required to support the production of product to provide on-time delivery to customers.

  • Assist daily production in operating and monitoring technical, computerized, production equipment, ensuring quality standards are maintained.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications & Education Requirements:


  • Minimum of High School diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Minimum 1 year of previous supervisor or managerial experience preferred.



Hours are from 3:15pm - 12:00am, Monday – Friday.
