Full Time: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Inspect facilities and equipment; monitor alarms; perform preventive maintenance and/or repairs for chilled water systems and fire sprinkler systems. Troubleshoot electrical distribution systems; monitor emergency generators; monitor and inspect deionizer and soft water systems, and acid waste systems. Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry (build and/or install shelves, cabinets), replace floor and ceiling tiles and other required duties; perform boiler operations and safety checks; monitor air compressors and control air systems; maintain operational logs; and follow safety regulations and codes; perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required or assigned.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been attained. Requires a minimum of 4+ years experience, of which must include 2 years cumulative, directly related experience in one or more of the following: chilled water systems and components, boiler operations and components, air compressors and control air systems, fire sprinkler systems and components, troubleshoot electrical distribution systems and components, emergency generators and components, deionized and soft water systems, or acid waste systems and components; or trade-vocational school certification and 2 years related experience. Requires experience testing equipment, and power/hand tools. Requires basic computer application skills. Requires effective verbal and written communication skills. Must have a valid driver’s license issued by the state in which the position is located.
